Requiem for a dream

It’s a bonanza for screenplay lovers....
Very ordinary story but the screenplay makes you to watch the movie till the end...
I was just thinking can it be made into a bollywood movie? ... The question is open for critics. hehe

Here is my version....

4 different people have different dreams to reach their destiny... The route they take to reach their destiny is too hard...Jared leto and the African American sell drugs to make money and also get addicted to it. Jeniffer conolley, lover of Jared leto opens a fashion store with the money he has made...The fashion store was her dream...
Jared leto's mom, who lives alone in her apartments, dreams to be in television one day... Fortunately she get a call for a TV show, for which she mails her details...
The African American dreams to live a peaceful and happy life with the money he makes....

Things seem smoother, but not for too long..... the path they take to reach the destiny drives them to a mere death.....

The drug vendor is killed by a gang, making the life of Jared and African American miserable... they run out of money.... the fashion store is closed... All 3 become crazy without drugs... Jeniffer turns out to be a prostitute for drugs.. Jared and African are caught by police.... Formation of gangrene in Jared's arm due to frequent hits leads to amputation of his arm...

Jared's mom unknowingly takes drugs to become slimmer and to present her for the TV show.... she too gets addicted now... Out of frustration she visits the studio asking for a chance, she faints there and later finds herself in a re-habilitation center...

Requiem - for all their dreams.......

12 Angry Men

Awesome movie! .... Its a kind a movie no one can ever think of!.. take a wild guess, for the kind of movie it is.. .. horror, thriller, action..? .. phew!.. its a drama! The movie in a room with all dialogues... it is an one and half hour drama and still keeps you going...

Here is my version....

The movie is all about a jury, comprising of 12 angry men, who need to decide upon the murder trail, of a father by a 18 year old kid. The kid wil be tried again if the 12 angry men raise a 'Reasonable doubt' on the evidence produced, else sentenced to death.

Screen played in Black & white in the year 1957, Henry Fonda who is one of the jurors, is the only person to raise a 'Reasonable Doubt' at the start and as the movie goes on with the heated discussion amongst the 12 along with open voting every now and then for 'Guilty' and 'Not guilty' of the boy , the 'Not guilty' vote dominates the 'Guilty' votes.

here is the spoiler!!!......
Alas! all 12 men raising 'Reasonable Doubt' declare the boy as not guilty!

Here is the much awaited part!.. critics..!
1. Why did the public prosecutor hired by the jury, could not ask even simple questions as argued by the 12 angry men?

2. Before the end of movie Henry Fonda and the old man get to know each other and they walk of the steps... the steps are wet because it was raining sometime back... (good job).. the left corner of the road was not wet!!!!!! ( How come?)

Final 45 Days

Final 45 days
-Gratitude, Loyalty and Respect-
Prologue
45 days is a short story of a software engineer. All the characters in this story may be fictious or true.
a. June 2005
It was the beginning of southwest monsoon in India and was pouring heavily. I could hear the splattering noise of the rain through the window and suddenly felt that I need to rush to the office, since the time was 8:30am. I immediately rushed to my bathroom and completed all the morning duties and had a quick shower, by then it was 8:45am. I was not so excited though it’s going to be my first day at office!
I prostrated before god and asked for peace of mind.... Billu accompanied me to the office. Billu was not in a good mood that day, his face was filled with anger, I could feel that he was in a way insecure, since I was leaving him, I couldn't help him to come out of that state. Billu and me were inside the office at around 9:30am. The HR people started verifying my mark sheets and gave me a file of documents to be filled. Billu pretended to be happy and was talking to me as if nothing happened the last night.

b. Till September 05
With 3 months of training ahead of me I wanted leave the past and begin a new life.... and I did it!!! I was staying along with 4 people who were from various parts of Tamilnadu. I was just sharing the room with them and nothing else!..In the race of software training, right from the first week, Catalunya* was my pit stop...3 months went on... once the training was over, I had a swirl in my fortune.. I was put in one more round of training .. SAP-ABAP...

c. Back to college days - till Feb 06...
The ABAP training was filled with fun and only fun... If I had learnt something, I think I did it after the training.... I could play only NFS5, Cue ball, AirXonix and a flash car racing game during the training...I don’t know how the proxies work... but I used them... The network kept blocking the proxies and we start finding new ones... finding new proxies was more challenging than work...
Learning TT was tougher than ABAP... I was much disciplined to reach the TT table by 6:30pm

d. Breaking moment.... till April 06
Was given a cubicle and put into support project...

e. Defining moment..from april 06
Was put into implementation project for a Dubai client and in fact my first challenging project.
My teammate and my best friend were in Hyderabad for this project, working in cyber towers, Hi-tech city...... We were tried and tested in this project and we did an amazing job with laurels pouring from all over the place...

After 3 months of project and successful go-live, it was yet another challenging moment for me... I was working in HR ABAP in Vizag for about a month... I made several friends there.....enjoyed a lot...

Once again a challenge, I was transferred back to Chennai... I define it as an unethical transfer.....
I was on deputation from Chennai and was working in Mumbai for about 6 months.... I learned hell a lot of politics over there than technical knowledge..... This time I was working global client and gained a lot of process knowledge... There were few people who were my inspiration and still they are my inspiration....

f. Final 45 days.. Till July 07
It was time for a radical shift...
I am a free bird now..... Back to my hometown Hyderabad... Taking care of my mom and dad... working for an amazing company and still a software engineer!!!!...
